This document sets out the privacy policy applied by Omega System. The privacy policy contains information about the data controller, the legal basis and purposes of data processing by the controller, and the rights of the data subject from whom personal data is collected, as well as specifying the scope of the cookies used.

Information about the data controller
- The data controller for the User’s personal data is Omega System L. Polakowski, M. Serafińska-Polakowska s.c., with its registered office in Siemianowice Śląskie.
- Users’ personal data will be processed for the purpose for which it was provided. The data controller processes personal data for the following purposes:
• to fulfil the contract entered into, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR,
• to pursue the data controller’s legitimate interests, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR,
• where consent has been given for the processing of personal data, such data will be processed pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. - The Data Controller uses Users’ personal data for the direct marketing of its own products or services. A User may object to the processing of their personal data for the purposes described in the previous sentence.
- The recipients of Users’ personal data will be entities whose services the Controller uses (e.g. banks, courier companies), as well as entities authorised under the law (e.g. public authorities).
- Unless otherwise provided for by law, the Controller processes the User’s personal data for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the data was provided to the Controller.
- The User has the right to access their personal data, the right to rectify it, the right to request its erasure, the right to request restriction of processing, and the right to object to its processing.
- Where personal data is processed on the basis of consent, the User has the right to withdraw their consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.
- The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection if their data is processed in breach of the provisions of the GDPR. The provision of personal data by the User is voluntary, but necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the data was provided.

Information about cookies
- The Website does not automatically collect any information, with the exception of information contained in cookies and data voluntarily provided by the Website User via the contact form.
- Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the Website User’s device and are intended for use when browsing the Website’s pages. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the duration for which they are stored on the end-user’s device, and a specific, usually unique, value.
- The Website uses two main types of cookies: ‘session’ cookies and ‘persistent’ cookies. ‘Session’ cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User’s end device until they log out, leave the website or close the (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the period specified in the cookie settings or until they are deleted by the User.
- The entity placing cookies on the Website User’s device and accessing them is the Website Administrator and the administrators of Partner Entities (who do not have access to the Administrator’s own cookies).
- The Website Administrator uses the following cookies:
a) first-party cookies – placed by the Website Administrator for the purpose of: tailoring the content of the Website’s web pages to the User’s preferences, remembering the User’s preferences, controlling and authorising access to certain parts of the Website, and optimising the use of the web pages; in particular, these cookies enable the Website Administrator to recognise the Website User’s device and display the website accordingly, tailored to their individual needs;
b) third-party cookies – placed by Partner Entities for the purpose of:
• collecting general and anonymous statistical data via the Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools analytics tools [cookie controller: Google Inc., based in the USA].
• enabling the user to connect to the Facebook social media platform by using the Facebook social media plugin (provided by Facebook Inc.). - In many cases, web browsing software (a web browser) allows cookies to be stored on the User’s device by default. Website users may change their cookie settings at any time. In particular, these settings can be adjusted to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to notify the user each time a cookie is placed on their device.

- The Website Operator advises that restricting or disabling the use of cookies may affect certain features available on individual subpages of the Website or completely prevent the use of the Website.
