Contemporary museums are undergoing a dynamic transformation, blending tradition with modernity and enhancing their spaces with innovative multimedia solutions that make exhibitions more engaging. However, museum display cases continue to play a key role in protecting the collections on display, and those offered by Omega System are characterised by durability and high-quality craftsmanship.
Museums have recently been undergoing a radical transformation, with exhibitions becoming increasingly modern and appealing to visitors. They are equipped with various advanced multimedia solutions that make a visit to the museum a special experience. However, no better way has been devised to protect the collections on display than museum display cases – a tried-and-tested and indispensable element of every exhibition for many years. These too, thanks to the ever-improving materials and production techniques available, are becoming better and, above all, safer for the exhibits. Our range includes a wide selection of tried-and-tested museum solutions, and thanks to our experience and knowledge of materials, we can also tailor them to specific requirements.
We have developed a wide range of display cases for museums. Our designs are so varied, and the possibilities for customisation so flexible, that they can be used in exhibitions on any theme. Our range of display cases is offered at affordable prices. We can also design and manufacture bespoke museum display cases to individual orders, meeting specific requirements and featuring a unique design.
The range includes:
- free-standing museum display cases,
- table-top museum display cases,
- museum display cases mounted on pedestals.
They are available in two basic versions:
- Display cases constructed entirely from aluminium profiles (including the side panes).
- Display cases where the exhibition area is entirely glazed.
museum display casesA bespoke museum display case will make any exhibition truly special
Give your display a unique character and make the most of modern materials. Our range includes a wide variety of display cases for museums, from simple models with a lift-up or side-opening lid, through slanted designs, to tall cases with a drawer or cabinet, or those mounted on a wooden plinth. They can be made in one of our standard sizes or customised to suit the specific requirements of your exhibition. Museum display cases are manufactured using various materials that comply with safety standards. The basic structural elements are aluminium profiles in a natural anodised finish or painted in any colour, including finishes imitating wood grain or stone. Pedestals made of wood and MDF are varnished in a colour chosen by the customer or finished with high-quality veneer.
We use tempered or laminated glass – with the appropriate properties and strength to ensure the safety of the displayed items and visitors. The doors are secured with high-security locks. If required, the museum display case can be fitted with locks that meet the relevant safety certification standards. For lighting, we use LED, halogen, standard or custom-specification lamps, tailored to the requirements of the order.
