Every functional space should be carefully planned in order to fulfil its purpose. To this end, larger areas are often divided into smaller spaces with specific purposes.
In industrial halls, these may be social facilities, office workstations, storage spaces or walls surrounding workstations or machine workplaces. In offices, lightweight walls are used to separate areas for conversations and rest, room-in-room spaces, and smaller storage areas can also be created. Lightweight structures can be used to designate cloakrooms and changing rooms, e.g. in the backstage areas of theatres and cultural institutions, as well as in shops. In healthcare facilities, lightweight partitions can be used to create medical and rehabilitation stations that provide an intimate space for doctors, physiotherapists and patients during examinations and treatments. The lightweight partition system is also used to build reception areas, which are also completely separated from the corridor by a lightweight partition.
The system allows for the use of a variety of materials to fill the walls – from PVC, transparent plexiglass and glass, to composite and furniture boards, as well as fabrics. The standard colour of the profiles is anodised aluminium, but they can also be painted in any colour, including wood-effect finishes. The fillings are colour-coordinated, and panels with any printed graphics can also be used for this purpose. Additionally, it is possible to equip the structure with sliding doors and windows.
